Description
Umiak, like the traditional boats of Arctic peoples, is designed to transport its occupants from one adventure to the next with comfort and style. This vehicle is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170, model 2024 in 2-wheel drive version, and embodies the ideal companion for a nomadic lifestyle. Offering seating and sleeping space for 2 people, Umiak combines simplicity and practicality, while being equipped for extended explorations. Inside, Umiak includes a stainless steel indoor shower (our famous Houdini), an outdoor shower, a Chameleon 3-Panel Bed System with memory foam mattress, and a Norva Swivel Table. It is equipped for adventure thanks to a compost toilet, ROLEF mosquito nets, storage pouches and a removable cabinet. On the technological side, it benefits from 600Ah of self-heating lithium batteries, 200W of solar panels, a 3000W inverter and a Webasto heating system. The exterior is just as sturdy, with improved Van Compass suspension, steel wheels, a Norva step, and a protective Robliner coating.
